AI assistant
An AI CRM assistant that asks before it changes anything
Shelly is the assistant built into Lightng CRM. Ask in plain English to find deals, add leads, move a stage, research a company or draft a follow-up. It answers from your own boards, and every change waits for your Yes.
The CRM is only as good as the last time someone updated it
Every sales team knows the pattern. The pipeline review is on Monday, so the CRM gets updated on Sunday night. Notes live in inboxes, follow-ups live in heads, and the dashboard is a week behind the truth. Nobody joined sales to fill in forms.
Shelly turns the update into a sentence. Say what happened the way you would tell a colleague, check the card, press Yes. The record is current before you have closed the tab.
This is what makes Lightng an agentic AI CRM: behind Shelly, specialist agents do the research, writing and record changes, and you stay the one who approves them. What is an agentic AI CRM?
What a sales rep actually asks it
Start the day
“What's overdue, and what should I do first?”
A short list: late tasks, deals past their date, what has gone quiet, and the one or two worth doing first.
Read the pipeline
“How many deals are in Proposal, and what are they worth?”
The answer from your own boards, with a chart when a picture says it faster.
Skip the data entry
“Add these three people from this email thread as leads.”
Names, titles, companies and emails pulled out of what you pasted, ready to add.
Keep records current
“Move Acme to Negotiation and set the close date to Friday.”
The change, prepared on a card for you to confirm.
Prepare for a call
“What does Northwind do, and is there any recent news?”
A summary from the web, with the sources it used.
Write the follow-up
“Draft a follow-up to Priya after yesterday's demo.”
A draft built from what is on her record, with a clear gap wherever a fact is missing.
One ask. A whole team on it.
Behind Shelly is a small team of specialists. Say what you need in plain words: the right ones pick it up, work on it together and bring back one answer.
You ask Shelly in plain words. The work is split between specialists who find and analyse your pipeline, research and write, and add or update records. Their work comes back as one clear answer, and your CRM changes only after you say Yes.

Ask the way you'd ask a colleague
“Which deals went quiet this month?” or “Add everyone from this email.” No menus, no filters to build. Shelly works out who on the team should take it.
Many hands, one reply
Look up a company, find the right person in your pipeline and draft the follow-up, all from one message. You get one clear answer, not three half-answers.
Nothing changes without your Yes
Every add, edit or delete arrives as a card with Yes and No. Your CRM only changes when you press Yes.
When it is not the right tool
Shelly works from what you tell it and what is already in your CRM. It does not join or record your calls, so if you want meeting transcripts turned into notes automatically, that is a call-recording tool’s job.
It also does not send email or run outbound on its own. It drafts, you send. If you want an autonomous agent emailing thousands of strangers, this is deliberately not that. Usage is measured in monthly AI credits per plan, which comfortably covers a normal working month but not a script hammering it all day.
