Working in the CRM

Boards, groups and columns

A board holds one kind of record, such as contacts, leads or deals. Each row is one record. Groups split the rows into sections, and columns are the fields every row has. You can change all three.

See it instead of reading it. The CRM board: a 3-minute guided tour on a sample board.

Changing a column

Hover a column's title and open its menu. From there you can:

  • Rename it or change its Property type.
  • Sort A → Z or Z → A. The toolbar shows Sorted by …; click it to clear the sort.
  • Edit options on a Status column: add, rename, recolour or remove labels.
  • Hide column. Bring it back from Columns in the toolbar.
  • Freeze up to this column, so the columns to its left stay put while you scroll sideways.
  • Add column to the right, or Delete column.

Drag a column's title to move it, and drag its right edge to resize it. The + at the end of the header row adds a column at the end.

Deleting a column deletes its values on every row. If you only want it out of the way, hide it instead.
